Audience Member One of the best movies dramatic movies regarding the Bosnian War, based on the autobiographical novel by a refugee. It dispels the one-sided narrative about the "oppression" of the poor Bosnian Muslims and paints all the sides black in a subtle, ideologically conscious way. This film, although well written, adequately directed, masterfully acted and produced will gain no highlights anywhere because it just doesn't fit the narrative.
