Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times This overlong film ... indulges in needless repetition and superfluous, often self-aggrandizing segues ... Rated: 1.5/5 Jun 29, 2012 Full Review Michael Nordine Village Voice Asif Akbar's documentary on filmmaker-turned-whistle-blower Julia Davis boasts a TV-movie aesthetic, clearly born of a shoestring budget that too often distracts from the core story instead of enhancing it. Audience Member I am appalled by the harsh reviews below. I suggest removing the plank from your eye, stop greasing palms around you and pay attention! Some reviews are mere opinion missing several very serious points. Your top critics are simply that. Critics- without merit. While I was familiar with the story, the impact of the film was much more powerful for me. What I saw happening was and still is a grave abuse of power. I know too well the depths that corporate world and corporate law uses to undermine someone who simply did their job and while doing so discovered and reported suspicious activity (per protocol) There was no just cause to raid their home- especially in the matter I saw taking place. It was and is a gross misuse resources that lead to several untimely deaths. This should never have happened. America has very dirty secrets they would rather kill people to hide then admit complicity. If you care about Country, please use the personal accounts that are available to everyone and inform yourself... I can't help but wonder if the negative reviews below are still a part of undermining the big picture. US Citizens need to know how their government and others work, and how they will use any means possible to get the results they want. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Davis' found factually innocent of all charges in Federal Court by a overwhelming preponderance of evidence. Most high level officials, judges, and the two ICE agents leading the "harassment" are still on the job or have been promoted! This will literally scare the shit out of you. Started in BUSH era and continues today I'm afraid! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member these morons who are grading the style of the movie don't seem to realize the level of hypocrisy by the government.
