A down-on-their luck Italian fishing crew (Salvatore Iaccarino, Giovanni Iaccarino, Abdel Aziz Azouz) is unable to bring in a sufficient amount of fish to make a worthwhile profit. They decide to take a risky trip into North African waters to bring in a bigger haul. The tactic works, but when rival fishermen find out, the crew's license to fish their local waters is revoked. With no other options left, the crew sails south again, though the risk may not be worth the gain.
