Dwight Brown Sepia If five dollars is still dear to you, you can skip this one. Aug 10, 2022 Full Review Bilge Ebiri Village Voice The profound disillusionment that runs through Tragedy of a Ridiculous Man, made just a few years after the visionary, flag-waving fury of 1900, is striking. Jul 27, 2017 Full Review Vincent Canby New York Times It's Mr. Bertolucci's most rewarding, most invigorating film since Last Tango. Rated: 4.5/5 Aug 30, 2004 Full Review Diego Galán El Pais (Spain) The crisis the main character endures in his new situation is not developed with the depth that Bertolucci is capable of managing. [Full Review in Spanish] Aug 21, 2019 Full Review TV Guide As usual with Bertolucci, the film's style and bravura camerawork are clearly in the forefront, but the politics and social commentary never quite find their place. william k Intriguing and puzzling drama, masterfully made, keeping its political message in abeyance throughout. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member <<Una volta, nei boschi, ci andavo per funghi; o a fare l'amore. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member A bit slow and too talkative but Ugo Tognazzi is such a great actor that you will forget the movie's flawns. The plot is very interesting by its ambiguity. At the end, you still do not know who was responsible. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
