Audience Member Solid story of racial tensions and village nuances at the time of India's post-war independence and partition. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Very good film about the horrific violence that erupted on the partition of India. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Performance by Nirmal Pandey is historic. No wonder he was so sought after artist for such roles. The idea of whole film from point of view of Magistrate was very clever. The very thought of partition sends shivers. Its a must see film for current generation, who have very little idea why people in their 80s and 90s still recall their birth places, both in Indian and Pakistan.
