01/22/2012 Solid story of racial tensions and village nuances at the time of India's post-war independence and partition. See more 01/18/2012 Very good film about the horrific violence that erupted on the partition of India. See more 08/26/2010 Performance by Nirmal Pandey is historic. No wonder he was so sought after artist for such roles. The idea of whole film from point of view of Magistrate was very clever. The very thought of partition sends shivers.
