For all of its positives, "Transhood" spends a lot of time on the minutiae of medical transition, a narrative many trans people would like to move on from - yesterday. Go to Full Review
Robyn Bahr The Hollywood Reporter 11/13/2020
Offering no narration, expert talking heads or text interstitials, Liese forgoes contextualizing the culture wars and instead lets her subjects speak for themselves. Their pathos, however, doesn't always localize where you'd expect. Go to Full Review
Kyle Turner New York Times 11/11/2020
With so much ground to cover, the scenes' shortness can feel unsatisfying and even occasionally facile. Go to Full Review

Pedro M Oct 20 This is, literally, child abuse recorded, documented and (NEVER FORGET) praised by a small activist party INCLUDING the Rotten Tomatoes so called "oficial criticism". Heartbreaking, sad and a true portrait of how deranged, abusive and insane people can get while claiming to do good. For those reading this in the future, please learn a valuable lesson here: evil is done by people with "good intentions" and little to no good sense. Fight them! See more Glowicki D Mar 17 This ‘documentary’ is atrocious. Each child in the series has clearly been gaslit, coerced, and brainwashed into believing they were born in the wrong body. I’m confident the parents of these children can be medically diagnosed with Münchausen syndrome by proxy. Why can’t children just be children? See more Alyssa K 12/18/2024 This documentary really was remarkable. Allows for people to peer into the lives of some very broken and confused indviduals. Very informative piece of media. See more Keith O 05/23/2023 Genuinely changed me and my thoughts about the trans community in a very positive way. Eye-opening and informative. See more Ebby P 09/05/2022 extremely bad, it's a movie created to indoctrinate kids See more 12/08/2021 Terrible degenerate and abusive See more Read all reviews
