In a World War II prison camp in Germany's Terezin Ghetto, Jewish detainees (Zdenek Stepanek, Csetmir Randa) are given the illusion of freedom and comfort even as they are being marshaled for transport to the death camps. The Germans are shooting a propaganda film to promote their "humane" treatment of their captives, but the Nazis' humanity is a mere illusion -- they are merely trying to instill a false sense of security in the Jews before shipping them off on a train to be gassed.
