Ex-Special Forces operator Frank Martin (Jason Statham) lives what seems to be a quiet life along the French Mediterranean, hiring himself out as a mercenary transporter who moves goods - human or otherwise - from one place to another. The Transporting is engaging but definitely will fall down to the stockpile of Statham action films that you forget. Shu Qi was unbearable and everytime she was on screen I wanted to leave. Overall, it hasn't aged well

Filme bacaninha, o roteiro é mais ou menos, as cenas são bacaninhas, a história é mais ou menos, o elenco é fraco, só o jason statham ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes.

The Transporter rushes with adrenaline as one of Jason Statham’s well known early combat action thrillers that’s a treat for those that admire his action performances but forit may not be the best choice for those who prefer action thrillers that are less over-the-top. Grading: C+

Decided to revisit The Transporter after not seeing it for about twenty years and was majorly underwhelmed. Then again, the teenage me is the intended audience for this underwritten endeavour. Besson displays his usual lack of judgment. He's not at all interested in logic, structure or character motivations as long as the dialouge is sassy, the action is hard-boiled and the explosions keep coming. This is as lazy as action films come.
