Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times If the way to a bigot's heart is through his funny bone, the smart, provocative documentary "Travel Ban" could definitely help change how some intolerant folks see Muslims and Middle Easterners. Oct 18, 2018 Full Review Bobby LePire Film Threat Travel Ban: Make America Laugh Again is frustrating to watch. Not because it is poorly made; it is not, quite the opposite in fact. Instead, it is frustrating that in this day and age, a person still has to fight for their right to be considered human... Rated: 9/10 Oct 23, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member (Ext. Black Swamp/American Boardwalk) Kid: I'm gonna move as far away from you as I can. Urainia: Fair enough. I did that to my parents. Kid: I think Dad wants to move. I saw him looking at green fields and he said he wanted to live there. Urainia: Your Father has a livecam in Austria he loves very much and finds relaxing. He probably wants to go there. Kid: Where would you go? Urainia: Japan. I think your Dad would like it too. It's a very clean place, Japan. Kid: They have lots of technology we don't. Urainia: Like toilets. Kid: (makes face) Ew. Urainia: If we could make people happy going to the bathroom, a base function, maybe everyone would be happier. Kid: Stop trying to teach me stuff. Urainia: Okay. But, I'd only visit Japan. I don't want to move to Japan when I get every culture in America. Kid: We don't have every culture. Urainia: You of all people! For shame! I met most of the culture through the mothers of YOUR friends! Anna's from Russia, Shakti's from Pakistan, Yun is Korean- Kid: And Katarina's from Egypt. Urainia: How could we forget Katarina? All of them are different religions, too. Kid: Candy's a Jehovah's Witness... Urainia: And that's why Candy always gets you into trouble. Kid: Yeah. She's always starting drama. Urainia: So even your Christian friends are different. Like Katarina celebrates Coptic Christianity, and Candy's faith denies Katarina's faith, and yet they're both technically Christian. Kid: Shakti's Muslim I think... Urainia: Shakti is Muslim, and I presumed she was Hindu, and Shakti's Mom presumed Katarina's Mom was Muslim. It's such an American dilemma! Kid: Stop teaching. Urainia: Okay. But, there is no other place in the world where I could imagine meeting and learning from so many different people. There's no other country I can imagine exploring my whole life. America is like outer space! Kid: Boring. Urainia: So boring to stay in boring America, I know. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
