Audience Member I went to see the premier and got to see the hero, wife and their small child. It was helpful to see that this extraordinary person is a young man, only 27 yrs old. Since he is one of only 4 or 5 men in the world who have survived this type of injury, he is even more inspiring. I was afraid I would be totally depressed--but the show is not depressing. It has given me much more courage in my every day life, when I think of what a hero this man and his wife are! He is raising money to start a place for soldiers and their families since 90% of them in his situation get divorced. You will be inspired, and it isn't overly dramatized in any way!
