06/12/2009 Excellent, emotionally scathing story of love, relationships, and friendship. The characters are consistent and the story is coherent. The script and the direction never waver from drawing the audience into this eventual triangle of deceit and dark passions. This viewer fails to see how this is a sequel to Charlotte Sometimes. There is no continuity of character or storyline here. It is, however another look at intimate relationships and how easily what seems to be happening on the surface can be a mask for one's true feelings. None of these characters come off as sympathetic. Each of them uses and is in turn used or abused by the other characters. No one is innocent and everyone of them bears scars. The acting from this no-name cast is adequate. The direction and script are what make this film extraordinary. See more 08/24/2008 What happened to the dialogue? There is no freedom in what the characters' are trying to say.
