Ed Power Daily Telegraph (UK) He's terrifically funny and unburdened by his predecessor's reflexive smugness. Jul 12, 2019 Full Review Wesley Mead Den of Geek Trevor comes to life on the stage: freed from the constraints of that Daily Show desk, he thrives, his remarkable storytelling skills - and an impressive talent for accents - enrapturing the audience. Jul 12, 2019 Full Review Brett Smiley Thrillist Noah is at his best when conversing between a pair of characters he's playing, like when Nelson Mandela trains a young Barack Obama on how to speak like a future black president. Jul 12, 2019 Full Review Kahron Spearman The Daily Dot The South African comic uses comparisons of his home and New York for foundational, scene-building material, but he really shines when he breaks out of that formula and gets a little more political. Jul 12, 2019 Full Review Sean L. McCarthy Decider Perhaps we need more comedians who can speak to the same audience our president does. Someone not so highbrow or highfalutin, but rather, delivering a more palatable message that goes down easy. That's something Noah serves up aplenty. Jul 12, 2019 Full Review Miles Surrey Mic.com Noah's message in Afraid of the Dark - one of open-mindedness and stepping out of your comfort zone - is both refreshing and evergreen. Audience Member This political puppet should stay away from stand up and remain focused on reading the script handed to him. Nothing in this special was funny. No creativity or authenticity in the jokes. The only positive is he is good at accents. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/18/22 Full Review Audience Member For the most part, really funny. Particularly liked the James Bond bit. Some jokes go on for too long though. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Trevor is funny in a way that doesn't hurt anybody and this special made me laugh out loud in the middle of the night. Even though he's telling smart jokes, it's still silly entertainment, as intended, and his skills are impressive. Definitely a must-see for stand up fans. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Mohammed A He’s funny & hilarious and did good job Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/02/17 Full Review Read all reviews
