angela g good movie very thrilling great acting from the 5 main characters britt Robinson does a great job at acting and being sad but the ending is not great the twist is unexpected and good watch this movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/23/24 Full Review Ari What a horrible film. The skateboarder and the birthday girl are the worst and most generic characters possible. I've never seen anything so bad. My biggest regret (besides having seen this film) is that the boring, irritating protagonist, who skateboards very badly, wasn't arrested. Seriously, the film is absurdly irrelevant, the dramas are absurdly irrelevant, and you can call the birthday girl as much as her father does. The sadgirl is the most interesting, but the film sabotages itself by trying to focus our attention on the skateboarder's asshole, who, in addition to being a delinquent, is a murderer. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/24 Full Review Audience Member It's silly, but it's fun. The concept is classic 'sleepover goes too far' but it is entertaining enough for 1 watching. The lead is solid and one goes from disliking her to being sympathetic. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member A surprisingly good teenage misbehavior movie about a group of 15-16 year old girls. Chapin, the skater girl with a dark past takes the other girls on a dare game rampage because she's bored at her best friend's birthday sleepover. The movie does not box these teens into permanent stereotypes and shows the subtle relationships between them, which was very refreshing for a teen movie, and the young actresses do a fabulous acting job. They're cute too. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Decent enough watch, probably won't rewatch, can recommend for a "girls getting into trouble" style of movie. Britt Robertson, Janel Parrish, and Scout Taylor-Compton are all reliable enough names, but the movie only gives them so much to work with. Britt, as the angsty teen, sort of drives the entire movie, but the premise of the movie sort of requires one at a time performances for a significant part of the movie. Given the options out there, I'd much rather watch something like Truth or Dare, which is at least trying to be a horror movie. But this has some comedy, it's got some dramatic tension, but it's not a Thriller. The mystery aspect isn't enough as it's a small part of the story. The movie just needed a little extra something, and it felt lacking.
