What to Know

Critics Consensus

Triple 9's pulpy potboiler thrills don't quite live up to the ferocious talents of its cast, but the film's efficient, solidly crafted genre fun is often enough to balance its troublesome flaws.

Jordan Hoffman Times of Israel At the end of the day, stories need to be about characters, not types. While nothing that ought to inspire a letter writing campaign from the ADL,"Triple 9" fails to make it past shorthand. Feb 1, 2018 Full Review Aramide Tinubu Shadow and Act The real screen stealer in Triple 9 is Clifton Collins Jr., as the quietly diabolical, dirty detective Rodriguez. He is a reason why this film will keep you glued to your seat. It's that derivative. Ariadne M I understand the frustration of losing cryptocurrency. Lose it to individuals you have given your time, trust, and personal information to. It's certainly a tough situation to be in. I have lost hundreds of thousands of USD, and I fear what these impostors would do with my details. It was months of fear and trauma for me before coming in contact with CyberGenie HackPro. Their success rate is impressive, and they have helped numerous individuals and businesses retrieve their funds via various means lost to scammers running from BEC Fraud and pig butchering fraud. Remember, it's essential to choose a legitimate company with a proven track record and positive reviews, CyberGenie HackPro is the DEAL. It seems as if the screenwriter gave up halfway through and just tacked on an anticlimactic ending. It had potential and actually starts out well, but goes down the hill pretty fast after the first "shocking" kill. Rating: 5.5/10 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/01/24 Full Review Gerry G Great cast carry this decent plot. The characters are formula, though there are some good scenes. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/22/24 Full Review Shawn S This film tries hard to have a sense of urgency and tension, but honestly the plot is just wafer thin and theres not enough for the runtime. There are some good moments, but the film does waste a lot of the ensemble cast. Aaron Paul in particular doesn't get much to work with. Beyond that, Casey Affleck feels horribly miscast in his role. His performance nearly single handedly ruined this movie for me. Everyone else was pretty good, even if they didn't get much to work with. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/07/24 Full Review Dani G A great cast, a good beginning, a semi-interesting plot.... But it doesn't quite take off. It gets stagnant for the most part, and with no real peak Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/25/24 Full Review Gero C I think it is too underrated. People these days are looking for something new, but most of the movies that they love and like are the same as some other movie. This movie honestly impressed me. Moderate performances, violence, incredible casting and a more or less original but entertaining plot. Highly recommended Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Read all reviews
