nick s It might be a bit too irreverent for religious watchers. JC comes to earth, indulges in some decadence, and figures out the church is even more perverse. The movie tries to present parellels with the original gospel story, suggesting that the world is as sinful today as it was in Roman times. I found the storytelling style a slog. However, lots of effort went into some scenes and some actors went all in, so there were a few highlights. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/04/24 Full Review Read all reviews
