Given the incoherence of its satirical aspirations (the film does end with a suggestion that everyone involved still loves this business we call show), and finally too scattershot to really make it as parody, Tropic Thunder is best appreciated as a goof.

One of the best comedy/action films ever made. A must watch. I'll put this on anytime I see it on cable or see it on demand. This is one you can re watch. It's that good and it's hilarious. The cast in this you couldn't ask for better cast. These new directors need to watch this movie and take notes cus this is a top of the line comedy/action movie that's grabs your attention early and keeps you entertained throughout the entire movie with a great ending

One of the best comedies out there. It is not for everyone but those who like - love it ! Acting is great, lines are very funny and the whole premise is so unlike standard Hollywood comedy. We need Tropic Thunder 2 !!!
