Clever horror/comedy hybrid of the kind that Sam Raimi used to make and that so many have tried to produce in recent years but have fallen remarkably flat. There's nothing flat about this clever genre flick. For the right audience, it's pretty great.

A solid spoof on the slasher in the woods. Really silly but works well for the most part. Good laughs fueled by the ridiculous kills. The tone meets the mark perfectly. But the slapstick horror isn’t for everyone.

There's a lot to like and a lot of real laughs, but the film is blemished by a few long, uneventful stretches and a third act that descends into a stereotypical slasher routine. A little more parody could've made this film really special; as it stands, it's just a good little comedy.
