David M My Favorite movie of all time, to this day Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/30/24 Full Review William Loved this film growing up. Kim Richards hair should have won an Oscar. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/25/23 Full Review X O I watched this back in the 80s, and the bicycle scene had a thing for me as I libed on my bike. It was my freedom, so a 'hero' with a bicycle was cool to me. Kim Richard's hair is beyond gorgeous, too. But the film, even then as now, is terrible. The situations presented are nothing like the real world, being a bad boy. It's just so stupid. No one would speak rhe way they do, have the right clothes in a gangster's car, with a maitre de who is an idiot, and how everyone dances in half empty bars doesn't happen. What I did learn is how much of a bully culture America lives by. It's rampant. What's with these bullying fcking boyfriends that people play they are aspiring to, hanging in the wings? And the fcking bstard is raping her. And the stupid prick thinks he can just beat someone up 4,on 1, and think he's cool. Do people do that? Of course, they just use guns these days. Cowards. Then propose to the Dad? I got to admit I like how Spader says 'Wounds of love', to Frankie. That was cool. Humanity is so stupid. Vale apena assistir? Sim Nota: 7,5 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Fun movie with lots of up and coming actors. Love the 80s. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member life isn't a problem to be solved it's a mystery to live. best line in the film. James Spader plays a young rebel intellectual type that is also from high society. the dinner scene w the girl eating w her hands & the family quietly laugh at her is hilarious. getting beat up in the locker room trope is classic 80s. there is a lot of dysfunctional characters in this movie & it gets dark. Robert Downey Jr plays the sidekick w a heart of gold w is also a cool guy musician. Spader literally kills his romantic rival. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews
