Jay Weissberg Variety A lean, enjoyable disaster story that happily spends more time focusing on character than spectacle, though visual effects are impressive. Sep 6, 2016 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Infusing its nightmarish scenario with bracing doses of satirical humor, Tunnel is smarter and more sophisticated than most Hollywood attempts at the genre. Sep 6, 2016 Full Review Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times There's not enough story here to warrant the film's more than two-hour running time; 90 taut minutes tracking a week in the ruined tunnel would have sufficed. Still, it's a vivid and relatable tale. Aug 25, 2016 Full Review Funmi Sunmonu Add This To Your List Fantastic survival drama-type film. Sep 7, 2018 Full Review Dorothy Woodend The Tyee (British Columbia) The film is not without its faults. . .But there's also a big payoff and a penultimate scene that is hilarious and obscene and completely justified. There is a great deal to love here. Aug 15, 2017 Full Review Edmund Lee South China Morning Post A thoroughly engaging drama that is peppered with both improbably dark humour and pungent attempts at social commentary. JJJJJJ J Good not great, gets better as it goes. Problem is characters make dumb decisions lots of unrealistic things going on despite this being based on reality. Shows potential but poor writing holds it off from being anything special. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/25/24 Full Review Audience Member The best Korean movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Impressively thrilling but a bit too much drama (as usually seen in Korean movies). Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member I'd like to know what kind of battery is in their phones. 😜😜😜 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Why did they have to do that to the dog at the end? WHY???? the dog had an owner! I would have given it 10/10 if it wasn't for that. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member A little feeling of Cast Away. The trapping of the man is one of the main stream, while another happen outside the tunnel. The faces of media, the government, the family, the rescue team, reflecting how movie maker criticizing to Korean. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
