Stephen Romei The Australian There's also a lack of suspense, with events following the predictable pattern of a much-played video game. Rated: 2/5 Dec 19, 2014 Full Review Jake Wilson Sydney Morning Herald Most of the film consists of padding: lengthy introductory spiels from the TV studio, repetitive computer graphics, flat expository dialogue scenes. Rated: 1.5/5 Dec 12, 2014 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com What should be a rollicking bullet train of big screen excess is instead an amateurish, borderline incoherent actioner starring Dominic Purcell, whose dead eyes and stiff physicality is perhaps the most telling aspect of this bumbling reheat. Rated: D Jul 1, 2015 Full Review Erin Free FILMINK (Australia) Cheap and fun, Turkey Shoot is an entertaining slab of nouveau Ozploitation. Dec 4, 2014 Full Review Russell Edwards sbs.com.au The action sequences are poorly rendered and its satirical edge is blunted by its borrowings from sharper films such as Rollerball and Starship Troopers. h a OK the script sucks, but its awesome. The action is bad at times but good at times. The Pseudo TV Network is so bad its good. Great premise but without the financing to make it good. Sorry but you get what you pay for. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Marty C You take RUNNING MAN... and you REMAKE running man... INCLUDING (spoiler?) massacre women and children wrongly convicted obnoxious tv hosts girlfriend added later stupid villain names ..... and BOOM.... Elimination Game Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/03/22 Full Review dave j Although it's a remake of the 1981 movie called "Escape 2000" it looks more like a low budget equivalent of "The Running Man" released in 1987 with a splash of Jason Bourne movies. The movie centers on Navy Seals Rick Tyler (Dominic Purcell) caught as a scapegoat to start up a war in Africa. and to be concocted to believe that a senseless massacre of women and children so that he can participate in a deadly game show so that selected contestants can hunt him down from all over the world. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Reminds me of the "Running Man" movie. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Robert Taylor...why, sir? Why? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member A watchable mildly entertaining but garbage film. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
