Audience Member Good movie directed by Bille August thatI watched for the first time on tv a couple of weeks ago. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Danish filmmakers in this period made great movies about teenagers, coming to terms with adulthood, love and sexuality. This is one of the best. It covers so many aspects, both of the major themes, but is also a tour-de-force of Danish society in this period. A year that changed these boys forever, this is a powerful story! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I just saw this again for the first time in many years. I saw it several times as a teenager, but I had forgotten how great it was. A heart wrenching film that engages its audience with an excellent (and at times humourus) portrayal of highly emotive dilemmas. Superb acting and directing! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Definately one of the best danish movies ever made. This is a film about love, lost love, dreams, friendships, and teen-ager problems. Very touchy film, and I love to watch it over and over and over and over and.... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member One of my favorite coming of age movies. Terrific cast and great acting. It was one of the few films I can remember seeing as a teenager that was wonderfully honest, sweet, and at the same time dealt frankly with difficult subjects. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A beautiful coming-of-age film that will stand the test of time. A realistic look into the lives of Danish teenagers and their families in the '60s. It has an effortless charm about it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
