If you can get pass the harmful stereotypes, and an odd obscure dip into mental illness, Henson's phenomal acting as her characters becomes increasingly unhinged absolutely carries the film. You can easily take the emotional roller-coaster and conclude her anger is justified, though the revenge seemed so dramatic I almost felt like the end was an alternate ending for shock factor and definitely undeserving.

For a Tyler Perry film, this is unexpectedly brilliant and captivating. A sort of film that is a definate conversation starter. It definately will draw the audience into taking sides. Well crafted linear story that has brilliant twists. Taraji shines as lead. A Must watch, especially with a partner.

Child , a lot of bad reviews for what ? Taraji P Henson portrayed the character the way it needed to be portrayed . The events leading to the climax was EVERYTHING. It is a MUST see movie . You can tell Taraji is ahead of her time as an actress today.

Definitivamente eu sou super fã das obras de Tyler Perry, normalmente roteirizando e dirigindo, aqui ele planta um triplex na nossa mente, ao mesmo tempo que apoiamos a protagonista, a condenamos nos minutos finais, uma sensação muito paradoxal, o roteiro de um brilhantismo perfeito, em contrapartida, uma realidade vivenciada por muitas mulheres, que toleram por tanto tempo machos tóxicos e desonestos. O ar dramático nos envolve, as cenas finais de ação nos encantam e o roteiro nos apaixona.
