Audience Member 130627: This is a three star spaghetti western and for spaghetti westerns, that's good. An enjoyable buddy film that reminds me in some ways of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The action starts immediately and there is enough of it that my attention was held on the screen. Sartana and Marco's unique partnership, I won't say friendship, is comedic. Though it appears the intent of this film was to be light hearted, make no mistake; Sartana and Marco happily kill off threats to their lifestyle. One deputy in particular is eliminated in an unusual, and I found rather grim, method. This...execution...sat with me for some time and just didn't seem to fit with the rest of the film. The word psychopathic came to mind. Anyway, along with the law, Sartana and Marco's partnership is entertainingly tested by money, women and one disfunctionally weird and wacky family. This film features all the classic spaghetti characteristics and will be enjoyed by anyone favoring this style of western. Brought many smiles to my face and even more upon reflection.
