Aidan M I loved this movie growing up. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review James S Blind side meets Twilight meets Pursuit of Happiness. Even with severe ADHD, the story lines lacked true organic mesh. Everything about this movie felt forced as if the feel good story confused the writers. The acting came across as if it were a horrible adlib SNL skit. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/07/23 Full Review Audience Member It seems like there's a good story hidden within the mediocre filmmaking and forced-feeling performances that drown this movie. There were some good moments and scenes. I finished watching it. So at least I didn't feel like giving up on it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Great family movie- inspirational Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Really nice little movie about Canton Ohio, Hoover and High School football A true story with lots of local celebratys including Sam Bourquin and Judge Elum! Jamie Neish CineVue There's an element of magic here, and it's safe to say that a certain degree of disbelief needs to be suspended, but even children may suffer to get much out of this foreign signing. Rated: 2/5 Aug 13, 2018 Full Review Barbara Shulgasser Common Sense Media Formulaic football drama has positive messages, no surprises Rated: 2/5 Aug 9, 2016 Full Review Mike D'Angelo The Dissolve There's scarcely a moment that doesn't feel hackneyed; at its best, it's like Friday Night Lights (movie or series) drained of everything remotely distinctive.
