After finding a laptop, a young man goes online to play a game with five of his good friends. He shows them a mysterious folder that plays disturbing videos of people who appear to be in danger. They then receive an anonymous message that tells them they will all die if they disconnect or call the police. The planned night of fun quickly turns deadly as each user becomes the target of something sinister while the others watch helplessly in terror.

If continuity errors bother you tremendously, there will be plenty of spots in Unfriended: Dark Web that will niggle you. My suggestion would be to go in, suspend your disbelief, and have a good time.

The movie was pretty intense, and much more intense then the original "Unfriended" movie. Of course it was made later, so there was the opportunity to have better tech. I recommend it...and you don't have to even see the first one to appreciate this one.

Definitely better than the first movie. Acting and overall plot was more cohesive and enjoyable to watch. Not particularly scary but it's a good watch with friends. Had an enjoyable twist and realisation. "It is game night" out of 10
