Director Susan Morgan's Kiefer Sutherland--narrated documentary spans all of Pulitzer Prize--winning photographer Eddie Adams' career, from his days shooting celebrities for "Time" magazine to the time he spent snapping world-renowned images of the Vietnam War. Morgan focuses closely on the latter, using interviews with Adams and media figures like Tom Brokaw and Peter Jennings to explore the ramifications of Adams's most indelible photo -- a U.S. general executing a Vietcong guerrilla.

Rated: 4/5 Jul 10, 2009 Full Review Lisa Kennedy Denver Post As chock-full of insights -- from Peter Jennings, Peter Arnett, Gordon Parks among others -- it is the famed war photojournalist's works that still create space to be startled, to be rewired. Jul 3, 2009 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com I dare say that the film would have likely looked much better had Adams himself been behind the camera. Audience Member Fascinating doc on the photographer and his famous photo--and so much more. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Fascinating doc on the photographer and his famous photo--and so much more. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member If you like photography, you should definitely see this! There are so many images out there we see so often and don't really think about. Well, this shows they probably came from Eddie Adams's lens. He's pretty much the man. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Solid documentary chronicles the fascinating and continually surprising life and career of photographer Eddie Adams. Well-made, though it did go on a bit too long and some of the interviews were lacking - it could have been more effective if there was more of Adams speaking himself, as those were the most compelling parts. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member I was intrigued with this man's art and how he used it to promote peace around the world. It was amazing to see film coverage of Eddie Adams mingling with Fidel Castro as if they were old friends.
