This documentary account of the events surrounding the 2000 U.S. presidential election examines the disputed vote in Florida and the myriad legal challenges by both political parties. Governor Jeb Bush and Secretary of State Katherine Harris are portrayed as conspirators in a bid to vault George W. Bush into the presidency through voting irregularities and a flawed recount process. The subsequent Supreme Court decision to halt the recount is viewed as nothing less than an assault on democracy.

Audience Member As long as there has been democracies partisans have been trying to figure out how to rig or "game" the election systems. This doc easily could have been titled Election Rigging 101. New and inventive ways of taking old tricks and making them new. Covers the 2000 election and it's aftermath. If you vote on a computerized system you should be very afraid. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member eh, it was kinda lame. but okay if you want an overview of what happened.
