oldtwins n The last of Michael Landon's brilliant career creation products, it is seemingly stuck in production style of the 80s. The storyline tries hard but is slow and melodramatic, with the only saving grace being Landon appearing and the viewer cheering him on. It's easy to see the flick was created as a forerunner of a future TV series, similar to Little House on the Prairie's debut episode. Only thing is, Landon's health dramatically declined and hence that idea was scrapped. Would this have lasted a typical seven year season run is the only real thought you'll have when you watch this and draw your own hypothetical conclusions if it would have lasted into the increasingly tough 90s period of TV-land. Overall, a must-see for even modest Landon fans, but anyone else can put this one away as forgettable. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/03/23 Full Review sandra w Kind of a highway to heaven vibe. It's a good lazy day movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/17/22 Full Review darin c Tragic. This explores the heartache of loving someone with mental illness. May hit home for many of you. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting idea, crappy movie. Like really crappy. So stupid. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member The characters in "Us" are very well developed and portrayed... so much so, that when the film ends, you really care about them and can't help imagining what the future holds for them.
