See more Oz S Aug 16 V for Vengeance (2022) starts with some intrigue but quickly reveals itself as a low-budget B-movie with little potential. The plot drags, the dialogue feels amateurish, and the action scenes, while somewhat entertaining, never rise above mediocre. Still, the film does manage a few fun moments and some creative visual touches. The opening also builds curiosity, even if it’s not sustained. This feels like a failed pilot for a CW show about sisters who are vampires. I wanted out after 15 minutes and nothing improved throughout.
