Stephen C Failure in 1 hour and 35 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/18/25 Full Review Audience Member I first watched this in 2004, 2005 when it was making the rounds on cable TV and liked it at the time. In fact for a long time I forgot the name of this film and thought what I had actually watched was "From Dawn to Dusk". It took me a little searching to find this when I wanted to revisit it. I watched it again just now and no, it didn't hold up. Bon Jovi was actually pretty good. He was the best actor in the film. The main antagonist was hot and had a great look and vibe as a vampire. Everything else was a negative. The plot was poorly put together and there were some parts where you'd go, "Why they hell would they do that?". Most of the supporting acting was awful particularly the girl who accompanied the good guys. I'll give it a 2.5 because I thought it was alright when I watched it the first time, and Arly Jover was striking enough as a vampire that her image stuck in my head to the point where I searched for and revisited the film 20 years later. It's average or better than average for a "Made for TV" movie and I can understand why it engaged me when I was flipping channels one afternoon in 2005. But it's 2025 now. We can watch pretty much anything we want at any time, and so I'd have a tough time recommending a 25 year old made for TV movie to anyone unless it did something spectacular, and this one doesn't do anything special. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/10/25 Full Review Liam D Bon Jovi makes an surprisingly decent lead but everything else is the same vampire cliches you have seen before but in a direct to DVD sequel Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/02/25 Full Review Audience Member Slow and low action Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/24/22 Full Review Audience Member I really think the Carpenter magic is gone in this one. The movie looks like a Tv Movie and the characters are bland and uninspired. Ir t wasn't for Capenter involvement in the movie. No one will ever remember it. Completely forgettable. I did like Sheryl Lee appearing in other places beside Twin Peaks. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Not quite as fun as the original, but it has a few cool moments and Bon Jovi is surprisingly likeable in it.
