Audience Member Slow and low action Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/24/22 Full Review Audience Member I really think the Carpenter magic is gone in this one. The movie looks like a Tv Movie and the characters are bland and uninspired. Ir t wasn't for Capenter involvement in the movie. No one will ever remember it. Completely forgettable. I did like Sheryl Lee appearing in other places beside Twin Peaks. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Not quite as fun as the original, but it has a few cool moments and Bon Jovi is surprisingly likeable in it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/16/19 Full Review Audience Member Not a direct sequel to the John Carpenter film, but taking place in the same universe. The sequel follows another Vatican sanctioned vampire hunter, Jon Bon Jovi, as he goes after a dangerous group of vampires in Mexico. Carpenter did not write or direct this film, but is onboard as producer. This film was instead written and directed by longtime Carpenter collaborator Tommy Lee Wallace (he even played Michael Meyers in the first film), who delivers a solid enough of direct-to-video entertainment. I did like how this sequel changed the setting a bit and made it even more so of a western than the first film, but this film does suffer by comparison to the excellent original film. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I would say "Vampires: Los Muertos" is the vampire film with the worst acting I have ever seen -- but I've actually seen "Drink Me". This is bad, B-movie horror at its most milquetoast. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Jon Bon Jovi is another weird leading man in this sequel nobody asked for to the movie I didn't like in the first place.
