Udita Jhunjhunwala Firstpost Regret to inform you that Veerey Ki Wedding is a marriage not made in heaven. Rated: 1.5/5 Mar 14, 2019 Full Review Namrata Joshi The Hindu Veere is yet another in the steadily growing list of squarely mainstream films in which womanhood is not all about being virtuous. The ladies are flawed and susceptible to transgressions. Jun 1, 2018 Full Review Pradeep Menon Firstpost Veere Di Wedding is a flawed-but-fun film about relationships, so there’s a chance you’d be willing to invest in it. Oct 17, 2023 Full Review Anna M.M. Vetticad Firstpost Veere Di Wedding is about having a choice every step of the way. Its achievement is that it arrives at this point without any dialoguebaazi or overt effort at messaging. Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 11, 2021 Full Review Poulomi Das Arré It's as if Veere Di Wedding refuses to have any emotional depth only because it fears that its protagonists might have to talk about something other than men. Mar 11, 2019 Full Review Rahul Desai Film Companion It might look bold and flashy and path breaking in an industry yet to acknowledge the whims of female chemistry. But maybe there's a clue to its futility in the film's relentless product-placement stance. Rated: 2/5 Aug 30, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member I came to this film 3 years after its release, as it wasn't available in streaming in the US before now. The wait was absolutely worth it. An absolute gem of a film with the right amount of quirkiness and depth. A really wonderful understanding on the real pressures women face as they find their balance between traditional and modern India. I appreciated the sense of humor. The performances were spot on and a special spot in my heart for seeing Vivek Mushran on screen again, in a very sweet role. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie can seem sexist if the male and female roles are reversed. But the cast of the movie thinks it's feminism, the term that's extremely misunderstood. The only good thing about this movie is Kareena and Shika's acting and some nice costumes. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Veere Di Wedding looked so much fun. I thought we have finally got a female version Dil Chahta Hai with a Sex and the City rehash. But when I left the theatre, I was utterly exhausted. The girls do get the show well for most of the time I was into the film, but there is just too much of 'blabbering' rather than actually 'echoing' boldness. However, the film gets a thumbs up from my side because it celebrates warmth between these girls, and their sisterhood has been elevated in the film. It's a drag in the second half, but what stays with you is the light-and-breezy first half. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member A Fun Chick Flick, nothing ground breaking that it claims to be but worth a one time watch Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member If you are 25 and older you are too old for this garbage/too advance of a movie. Please don't embarrase yourself if you are planning on watching this with your family lol. I am glad I didn't waste any money watching this on a big screen. I almost did. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Everybody has some problems and old friends meet up to fixing it up is what reminds us of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Sonam has shown a lot of her capabilities recently and Ms. Kapoor Khan never fails to amaze us. Swara Bhaskar from PRDP's sister to spoilt brat was an amazing transition. But the movie didn't have fixed storyline. The problems was not well defined. Screen time for each lady was biased. ZNMD couldn't be recreated. If more realistic problems were taken in considerations would've connected better. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
