Surprise hit with my wife and I. Breaking the 4th wall - a'la Deadpool - worked and the origin story was good. I might have prefered sticking closer to the comic story, but then how to explain some of that in the MCU era? IDK. Silly in a way, but overall solid and very enjoyable.

This film is definitely the best film in the Sony spider universe, the acting is pure quality and the action scenes are good. It Is a great start to the trilogy, sadly to be let down by it's sequels later on. The acting is good and the story develops at a good rate. I would highly recommend it.
