The first Venom movie gets a lot of hate, especially from critics, but I personally don't think it's that bad. The plot was a bit hard to follow, always moving too quickly from one thing to the next for it to sink in, but that didn't stop me from enjoying this movie. Tom Hardy is brilliant in the role of Eddie Brock alongsid Michelle Williams as Anna and Riz Ahmed as Charlton Drake. The Symbiote design for Venom and Riot improves a lot from what we saw in Spider Man 3 and the CGI was really top class. The light humour and simple storyline make it an easy to follow and just a fun movie. And to round it of Eminem's song 'Venom' at the end kicks in at the exact right time finishing off as the cherry on top. Overall Venom is a poorly written but enjoyable movie with a good cast and brilliant character design.

Ignore the critics score who had high expectations for this movie, it was very solid and Tom Hardy made a great performance and I absolutely enjoyed the comedy and action in this movie and the plot in this movie is better than any other Sony verse marvel character.
