      Critics Consensus

It might be a more entertaining watch for diehard fans of the show, but Veronica Mars offers enough sharp writing and solid performances to entertain viewers in the mood for a character-driven thriller.

Joseph W They should make more. Good stuff. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/08/24 Full Review Nikolaos L A very predictable and super typical story. Poor acting from most actors involved. Certainly does not justify the good ratings it has. Jan 20, 2021 Full Review Kate Muir Times (UK) Perhaps you need to be a lover of the original series to fully appreciate this latest effort. Jan 2, 2018 Full Review Jenni Miller Film.com Veronica Mars will definitely please the fans desperate to catch up with the residents of Neptune, but I feel certain it won't sate us for long. Jun 9, 2017 Full Review Michael Cuby them. Reuniting all our favorite characters at their ten year reunion, the movie was a fun return to the seedy underbelly of the fictional California town of Neptune, with all the scandal... Sep 27, 2022 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies Do you have to be knowledgeable of the TV series to enjoy “Veronica Mars”? Thankfully no. But there were plenty of times where I felt out of the loop (I still don’t know what marshmallows have to do with anything). Rated: 3.5/5 Aug 21, 2022 Full Review Richard Crouse Richard Crouse Veronica Mars is an engaging character and Bell wears her like a glove, tossing off some zingy one-liners and bringing an easy charm to the role.
