Siddhant Adlakha Variety Scales back on its predecessor’s laughs in order to focus more closely on — as well as to examine — the violence of its police protagonists. Oct 2, 2024 Full Review Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com A film that’s wildly entertaining but also has a great deal on its mind about how far we should be willing to go to balance the scales. Rated: 3/4 Sep 27, 2024 Full Review Tim Grierson Screen International On the whole, this instalment is a confident step up from the original. I, The Executioner may have more on its mind, but not to the detriment of the bone-crushing escapism that defined the first chapter. May 22, 2024 Full Review Panos Kotzathanasis Asian Movie Pulse Although not as good as the origina, I, the Executioner has still a lot to offer, both in terms of entertainment and context. Yoo Ah-in is a loss but Hwang Jung-min compensates somewhat Rated: 6.5 Jan 5, 2025 Full Review Whang Yee Ling The Straits Times (Singapore) A seam of social commentary adds to a satisfying action-packed cop drama. Rated: 3/5 Nov 2, 2024 Full Review Louisa Moore Screen Zealots A predictable but solid detective thriller wrapped inside stylish visuals and intense action. Oct 8, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Bob E Fast paced and entertaining. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/01/24 Full Review abhishek Surprisingly funny and good story. I haven’t watched the part 1 which came out in 2015 and there were very few references to that movie so no need to watch that one before watching this. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/29/24 Full Review isabelle a I enjoyed the movie and particularly Jung Hae In! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/29/24 Full Review 아파라트 H The question of whether private punishment is justified. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/25 Full Review Reza J Haven't watched the previous movie, so missed out on a few references in the beginning. Story wasn't captivating and quite surface level, even by my mom's standard. We saw the plot twist coming from a mile away. It was good enough for us to finish the movie, but bad enough for us to want it to end as soon as possible. If you are out of good, high-quality movies to watch, I recommend this one to kill some time until you find something new Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/15/25 Full Review Audience Member Veteran 1 is much much better than this Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/10/24 Full Review Read all reviews
