Audience Member Interesting from a technical standpoint (seeing how one makes a feature-length film on VHS), but otherwise, meh. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member An original cool idea just held back by a low budget. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Really poorly made but very fun to watch. If you like bad gore movies then this is for you Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Director Gary Cohen's Video Violence, co-written with Paul Kaye, is another example of shot-on-video film-making at its best. Nice and sorta twisted, sorta drawn out but it's nothing to complain about Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing vibes put out in this film. Brings the viewer back to the golden days of Ma'N'Pa video stores renting out the most violent shit ever. This film a small town is making snuff films and the newest proprietor of the video store is next. It is more disturbing than you would think! A lot of ruthless killing and sexual violence. AKA BLOOD on BOOBS. I could see the morality squad calling this in for being a rape trigger... Anyway, other than that, this movie is shot on video but looks amazing considering how cheap it is. No lesser quality than a television broadcast. The video quality is only appropriate considering it is about a video store and a video snuff ring.
