Random strangers have suddenly started attacking Vincent with murderous intent. His existence as an unremarkable man is overturned, and as things spiral violently out of control, he is forced to flee and change his life completely.... What to Know

Critics Consensus

Vincent Must Die's slow turn from absurd comedy to tense, horror-tinged drama is supported by smart storytelling and compelling work from Karim Leklou in the lead role.

Jessica Kiang Variety A punchy summation of post-pandemic — rather than pre-millennial — nervousness and malaise. Oct 10, 2023 Full Review Christian Zilko IndieWire Castang and screenwriter Mathieu Naert seem to tease us with the multitude of exciting paths that the film could go down before ultimately choosing the least interesting one. Carlos E. This movie starts off with so much potential. The premise is great and I’m along for the ride most of the way through, but the ending leaves a lot to be desired. I rationalize it by believing that they are leaving room for a sequel, because it truly feels like a lot of the big questions are left unanswered. If no sequel is in the works, then this feels like a waste of time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/05/25 Full Review Ben H Got duped by RT and watched this half-ass double-feature with Hallow Road, interesting premise to start, then loitering from second-half thru the end. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/03/25 Full Review Jonathan A Saw at the local AMC, interesting idea, but was bored. The sound mix was a bit off, felt like the voices didn't match the actors. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/03/25 Full Review Darren B. An excellent idea very poorly executed with a bland script that meanders away from what made it interesting. The French to English dub wasn’t close to its worst problem. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/02/25 Full Review michael C. Very entertaining. Really enjoyed it. Saw it as a double feature with Hallow Road. Both movies were really good. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/01/25 Full Review Julio G. Great movie. Highly recommended Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/02/25 Full Review Read all reviews
