deke p 01/12/2020 It was interesting in that it was made i 1937. Starring JOAN BENNETT. She was glookn. Interesting in that she played such a brazen temptress of a happily married man. I think i need to read a plot summary to really understand. Epic showbiz epic story, serious. The TECHNICOLOR & the fashion shows, as well as the DANCING, especially the TAP DANCING, & the black dancers, was particularly interesting. Saw most of it, for the first time, on TV Jan 2020. Saw it again 12.5.2020 on THE MOVIE CHANNEL 13.3, & I considerably raised my opinion of Joan and the movie. See more 11/20/2005 Fairly entertaining mix of drama, music and fashion. It's one of the few color films from the 1930's. The cast is okay, nothing particularly special. Nice production values. A little too long. See more Read all reviews
