Synopsis
This documentary chronicles the ups and downs of a German family in the 1970s, but in an unorthodox manner. Footage from several years prior serves as a point of comparison to the family's current tumultuous state. At the film's center is the family's matriarch, Irene, who now lives with her son and daughter after divorcing her husband, whose injuries have forced him to take a pension. Meanwhile, Irene's other two disgruntled daughters have moved out of the house.
