Sid Mehra (Ranbir Kapoor) is a young man living in Mumbai who benefits from the indulgence of his parents. After graduating from university, he makes a stab at working in his father's business, but lasts only a week. He then meets Aisha (Konkona Sen Sharma), an aspiring writer from Calcutta. Sid helps her get settled in the city and then wants to take things further -- but Aisha isn't interested because of Sid's slacker personality. Will her rejection serve as a wake-up call for Sid?

Despite the obvious passages, Mukherjee shows he has a way of adding nuance to a scene. Wake Up Sid is a promising first effort.

It was a good watch overall. Surprised with the tomato meter, should have been 85+. Yeah I know there were flaws like...urgh, it's very rare to find flaws in this film but still I couldn't find it. So 4 star is suited for it!

YEAH I Really liked it. The teenagers nowadays deserves these kind of movies. This was an awesome movies a lot of things can be learned from this one and definitely not like the typical shitty movies of bollywood . this have a different flavour. I personally enjoyed it .

"Wake Up Sid" is an important reminder that everyone has to grow up one day. I quite liked the messages and the main story in this movie. I thought Ranbir Kapoor did a great job and portrayed a realistic guy who has many flaws but becomes easy to root for. I think the movie does start to drag near the end and hits a few predictable notes, but it's a very solid feel-good movie. I think a lot of young people will find something to relate to in this movie and can definitely learn some important lessons. Overall, it's a crowd-pleasing movie with a great lead performance that I really appreciated as a young person.
