If you aren't into new-ageiness, its meditative pacing, preachy voiceover and closeups of shiny, hard-shelled ladybirds might grate, though its continual call to return to the present moment is hard to ignore.

Extremely boring, poor quality pseudo documentary, more like a promotional video. Lacking depth and badly filmed. Very disappointed. Complete waste of money and time...although I only managed to watch half... It was so bad I had to leave the cinema. Had enough. Only did that twice in my life. Bad film.

WITH ALL THE LACK OF CLARITY HERE, THIS MOVIE HAS CONFUSED ME FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END. IT DOESN'T OFFER ANY NEW INSIGHT TO PLUM VILLAGE'S WAY OF LIFE, NEITHER DOES IT GIVE A CLEAR PICTURE OF WHAT IT IS, OTHER THAN IT BEING A MEDITATION CENTER FILLED WITH MONKS AND NUNS, AND OF COURSE, THICH HIMSELF.
