Chris Jackson Starburst Things pick up slightly in the last half an hour, but ultimately lead to a flat conclusion that does very little to leave a lasting impression. Rated: 2/5 Mar 23, 2023 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com It provides yet another reason to appreciate Forster's skills as an actor, always ready to commit to anything the script offers him. Audience Member dark comedy with great acting all around Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member With Robert Forster in the film I would like to see it.He is terrific. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member This is an 80s movie that is not good. It has a weak cliched story and a terrible soundtrack (think 70s porno music). decent performance by Robert Forster, but not much else. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Robert Forster solid again as a cab driver giving a hiding place to an ungrateful woman needing refuge from the thugs she tried to kill for revenge. Joe Spinell is one of the greatest typecast slimeballs ever. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Ever since I have gotten a hold of the Jackie Brown DVD w/ the 2nd disc featuring a slew trailers of Robert Forster movies I have made mental notes of some of his movies that I have always wanted to see. Walking the Edge was a long time in the coming. Although not a complete box office draw Forster is highly likable & is more then capable of carrying a lesser budgeted script a long way. Although he does get some help from the supporting cast in the likes of Joe Spinell & his interaction w/ Nancy Kwan is subtly charming Forster can carrying the entire weight of this film on his back. Actually quite good Walking the Edge should be heard of a little more in the 80s echelon's of film. Surprisingly it's quite enjoyable & even merits repeat viewings Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Robert Forster solid again as a cab driver giving a hiding place to an ungrateful woman needing refuge from the thugs she tried to kill for revenge.
