Nell Minow Movie Mom Rated: 5/5 Nov 1, 2003 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Features a metallic RoboDog who wouldn’t be out of place in The Terminator. Rated: 3.5/4 Dec 12, 2024 Full Review Carla Monfort Espinof Not everything is reduced to artisanal animation (the kind that shows the love put into each character), but it boasts a sparkling and fun script, full of wonderful craziness and charismatic characters. Kevin P A classic Wallace & Gromit short with a genuinely suspenseful mystery and a surprisingly large scale despite its short runtime. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/25 Full Review D3Z 1 Wallace and Gromit a Close Shave certainly shined on every aspect especially with the introduction of Shaun the Sheep. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/29/24 Full Review Birithivy Y Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave - 10/10. Revisiting all the old shorts after watching Vengeance Most Fowl has been a blast. You realize and remember what made you fall in love with this franchise, and why, they’re the stuff of legends! Wallace and Gromit are beloved characters for all ages because they’re in stories that are just so accessible and beautifully created. A Close Shave is excellent (maybe not The Wrong Trousers level, but still, excellent), and it brings even more scope and scale to the claymation world of the inventor and his trusted good dog. What I enjoyed about this one was that it really felt like a British version of a Looney Tunes short. It had this energy to it, which feels a little more paced and thrilling in comparison to the previous two shorts. Again, even though these shorts are awesome and wonderful, I really wish there was a way for them to have extended cuts. I get it: budgetary reasons were there for them to be shorter in duration, but I kinda wish Nick Park and Aardman surprised us all and said “oh, by the way, we have directors’ cuts for these old shorts!” Excellent short, and brought back a lot of great memories! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/28/24 Full Review Adri S Lo siento Wallace y Gromit pero este corto me aburrió bastante. Todo el rato empeñados en que el perro malo ese y la mujer tengan tanto protagonismo. Por lo menos aparece la oveja shaun. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/27/24 Full Review Audience Member A hugely fun animated comedy. This film make is a huge improvement to the series. The dog transformed into a robot was a little unsettling but appealing enough for kids and adults alike. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/19/24 Full Review Aender S The best of the Wallace & Gromit shorts. Great animation and excellent humour. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/11/24 Full Review Read all reviews
