Nell Minow Movie Mom Rated: 5/5 Nov 1, 2003 Full Review Carla Monfort Espinof Not everything is reduced to artisanal animation (the kind that shows the love put into each character), but it boasts a sparkling and fun script, full of wonderful craziness and charismatic characters. [Full review in Spanish] Jul 8, 2024 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins The humor is still grand and consistent, the action sequences are familiarly exceptional, and the details are keen. Audience Member A hugely fun animated comedy. This film make is a huge improvement to the series. The dog transformed into a robot was a little unsettling but appealing enough for kids and adults alike. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/19/24 Full Review Aender S The best of the Wallace & Gromit shorts. Great animation and excellent humour. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/11/24 Full Review Simmy G Out of all the stop motion projects I have seen, this is by far one of the best, especially when Gromit forgot the cheese and then the demon FNaF furry tries to turn Wallace into dog food. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/03/23 Full Review Audience Member A Close Shave is an imperfect, but nonetheless genuinely outstanding, follow-up to the genuinely perfect The Wrong Trousers. This short film, like its predecessor, stuffs so much imaginative visual quirks that it almost feels like a miracle in itself; this 30-minute film has more imagination than half of the >$100M/150+ Minute blockbusters of today (and this is coming from someone who actually defends the often-overlooked moments of genuine creativity that many of those movies have). It also features a surprisingly tense final act, one so effective that I actually slightly criticize it for being too intense, as it's less like the horror-trope approach of 'Were-Rabbit', and more like they literally put the ending of the first Terminator into a Wallace & Gromit short. Regardless, this is a wonderfully energetic short film featuring one of entertainment's finest duos of all time, as well as a heck of a lot of twists for such a short film. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review matthew d A charming origin for Shaun the Sheep alongside a strange and wooly adventure with Wallace & Gromit. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Genuinely my favorite Wallace & Gromit short, A Close Shave is both entertaining and emotional at the same time.
