T H There is no way this is a real movie. Acting is awful. Zero storyline. Everything is just slapped together. You can tell everyone was just looking for a quick pay day. Thankfully it was under 1 1/2 hours long. What a waste! Within the first 15 to 20 minutes, it becomes painfully clear that the movie is in trouble, and by the 10-minute mark you’re already glancing at the clock, wondering how much longer you have to endure. The film never finds its footing, never builds momentum, and never gives the audience a reason to care about what’s happening on screen. The screenplay is easily one of the biggest culprits. It’s flat, disconnected, and shockingly devoid of any meaningful story building. Every scene feels slapped together without purpose or flow, leaving the narrative genetically flat and emotionally hollow. There isn’t a single compelling thread to latch onto, which makes the entire experience feel like a slog from beginning to end. The acting—across the board—is another massive letdown. Not a single performance stands out in a positive way. Even the seasoned actors, the ones who normally elevate lackluster material, fall completely flat here. Whether it’s the poor writing, the lack of direction, or a combination of both, the cast never feels invested in the story, and that lack of commitment translates directly to the audience. Character development is nonexistent. These characters bounce from one scene to another with no sense of connection, motivation, or depth. You never feel attached to anyone because the film never gives you a reason to be. This failure lies squarely on the director, whose handling of the material is so poor that it feels like they never truly understood the story they were trying to tell. It’s a complete mismatch between filmmaker and film. There are bad movies that at least offer moments of entertainment, unintentional humor, or creativity—but Wanted Man provides none of that. It’s a joyless, uninspired project that feels assembled by people working in separate rooms with no communication. Looking at the Rotten Tomatoes score, which hovers around a dismal 7%, only reinforces how universally this film misses the mark. It’s not just a minor misstep; it’s a complete collapse. Ultimately, Wanted Man is a film that fails on every level: writing, directing, performances, pacing, tone—you name it. It’s not just forgettable; it’s offensively dull. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, not even out of curiosity. Some movies are bad in an entertaining way, but this one is just bad, full stop.
