Audience Member In the tradition of the 60's Disney family films, The War of the Buttons charms its way into your heart. The kids can act. The grown-ups...sort of. War is only fun when no one gets hurt, but it's a little too close (in more ways than one) to the real The Troubles not to be criticized for its bad taste. No one loses an eye, but should. No one asks a grown up for advice, but should. It's dated, for sure, all testosterone. But if you're tired of Republican nastiness and exhausted from all the bad in the world, this movie might let you go to bed feeling a wee bit more Irish about yourself. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Childhood favourite, never will get old. If you haven't seen this I recommend you do so ASAP. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Very good, innocent humour - can't believe its a re-make of a French film - will have to rent that now too! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member An odd, but enjoyable story with beautiful scenery. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member "War of The Butttons" is fun, hilarious of course and enjoyable film that will really really brings you back into your childhood and childish war with a most ridiculous scene I've ever seen (that one I can't tell in this review). Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member I loved the movie and whoever wrote your vignette critique didn't even bother to watch the movie....I can't believe so few people saw it......it has everthing except zombies (the Lord be Praised) Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
