I'm not sure how different an A.I. version of 'Ice Cube stars in a screenlife version of War of the Worlds' would be from the current smash hit on Amazon Prime. Because I refuse to believe actual human beings were involved in most of this nonsense.

While the commitment to the bit of creating a whole movie through FaceTime and surveillance tapes is admirable, the execution and delivery left more than a little to be desired. Honestly felt like money laundering. There is no way this horrendous CGI cost even a fraction of this films inflated budget.

War of the Worlds is not just a movie. It's an experience. Everything from the camera panning, to the performances, to the heartbreaking reveal that Disrupter is the main character's son is incredible. You can hear the betrayal and shock in Ice Cube's voice when he realizes that Disrupter, the hacker he has been chasing is his none other than his own son, hacking the government. The plot is second to none. The writing surpasses William Shakespeare. Everything comes together to make War of the Worlds the greatest film ever put to screen, with absolutely no competition in sight. Rich Lee is a visionary, and it shows. Give this movie a shot, and you too will find that this is no mere film. It is unlike anything humans have ever laid hands on, and could have only been created through an act of Jesus Christ, or as we now know his as, Ice Cube.
