It features a tech-focused protagonist and his striking, dusky accomplice who find themselves coerced into pulling off a high-stakes million-dollar cyber job. While it’s certainly engaging enough to warrant a watch on a rainy Friday night, it lacks the polish or scale required for a theatrical release. The biggest hurdle is the suspension of disbelief regarding the "tech" elements, which occasionally lean into the absurd. The writers seem to think "hacker" is synonymous with "clumsy," as evidenced by our hero attempting to infiltrate a secure private mansion while balancing a full-sized laptop on a dinner tray. It’s a baffling creative choice that forces you to wonder why he wouldn't just utilize a smartphone or a more discreet mobile device.
