Saso Q This film could have been as good as John Carpenter's The Thing, equaling it in claustrophobia, paranoia and not least of all in soundtrack. Unfortunately, from an extremely promising and captivating beginning -- with some genuinely intense sequences relating to biohazard protocols, biowarfare containment procedures and the collective unconscious memory of the horrors of rabies -- it steadily devolves into a progressively goofier and goofier zombie affair that ends with the most feeble-minded resolution possible, involving a medical and political happy-ending wherein a small town sheriff and an alcoholic scientist manufacture a cure to a bioengineered, weaponized disease in a matter of hours while the inhabitants of said small farming town overpower the United States military and break into a Level 4 maximum security federal research facility to liberate survivors of one of the most dangerous and sinister medical-industrial disasters conceivable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/05/23 Full Review Richard S I don't get the hate for this movie, I loved (and still) love it. The cast is phenomenal and the story is (still) plausible to this day. I admit there are a couple of technical inaccuracies but they're only minor and this movie inspired me to become a scientist who worked on vaccines! Well worth a watch and still holds up to this day. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/21/23 Full Review delysid d this movie is really cool. i like yaphet alot he was in some cool ones Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/06/22 Full Review Audience Member Warning Sign is new generation of covid-19. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/24/21 Full Review Audience Member Pretty cool, claustrophobic outbreak thriller. It wraps up a little too cleanly for my liking, but it's a solid entry in this genre. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/13/19 Full Review Audience Member MEH I THOUGHT THIS ONE WAS KINDA SLOW AND BORING ESPECIALLY FOR A MID 80'S HORROR MOVIE. I USUALLY LOVE 80'S HORROR BUT THIS DIDN'T HAVE MUCH TO OFFER. IT HAD A FEW DECENT MOMENTS BUT NOT ENOUGH. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Rick Kogan Chicago Tribune Warning Sign fails to deliver any substantive messages or any genuine thrills. Rated: 1.5/4 Mar 26, 2019 Full Review Craig Schroeder Battleship Pretension In the war against the capitalist curation of streaming services, Scream Factory continues to be a noble soldier, offering horror fans the opportunity to see forgotten oddities and small pictures that would otherwise go unnoticed. Jan 7, 2021 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy A sedate endeavor. Rated: 2/4 Mar 30, 2019 Full Review Tom Long Santa Cruz Sentinel The film is fast-paced, predictable, and ultimately mediocre, but at least it helps breed some healthy paranoia.
