James W Jun 13 VERY weird, very funny, fun VFX, beautiful sets... this movie is a visual feast with surrealist imagery, ambitious wire work, wild colors, creepy demons, and so much more. It's worth it for Sammo Hung's prehensile eyebrows alone. Unfortunately, the editing is so fast-paced and seemingly random, the action sequences can be very confusing and the plot even more-so as it often feels like scenes that should transition you from point A to point B are missing altogether, leaving the viewer with whiplash as scenes are jarringly jammed together. The third act really starts to drag and I found myself shouting "WHAT IS HAPPENING??" at the screen at least a dozen times. It's great to look at. It really is visually spectacular. And if you hold on tight, you can follow the bizarre and sometimes frustrating story all the way to the kooky end. See more Leprechaun K @LeprechaunKing Feb 27 Great movie by Tsui Hark.
