Frank Swietek One Guy's Opinion Rated: 0/5 Sep 3, 2004 Full Review Scott Weinberg eFilmCritic.com It's a painly chintzy and woodenly delivered affair, but if you happen to be a fan of the novel, Part 2 is the Watchers flick you'd probably dig the "most". Audience Member Borefest. Not worth your time. Completely unnecessary roll of film. Tragic Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Once again.. if you take this kinda thing for what it is, there is some fun to be had. Of course the monster is goofy, it's a fuckin Roger Corman production. The script is actually smarter than your average cheapie, it has a little fun with itself, just as the first did. If you were to pick this movie up at a rental store and think.. "my.. this looks like grade A stuff" and were disappointed when you got solidly B grade cheese than you probably shouldn't be on here commenting in the first place. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member 74% Same story as the first and slightly better, only, the guy in the rubber monkey monster suit moves around like a Ed Wood ghoul in a 50's atomic b-movie. Horrible. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member As goofy as the first Watchers, but this one is better directed, edited, and acted. It's also quite a bit scarier, with some great sequences scattered throughout (like the sewer chase, or one Hell of an effective climax). Watchers 2 grasps at thematic depth which it simply cannot reach, so it doesn't really earn the pathos it demands for its monster come the conclusion. Still, for a movie designed to be watched on a rainy afternoon, you could do a lot worse (like Watchers 3 and Watchers: Reborn, for example). Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member the best bad film ever made. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member You can't expect much from a sequel to a bad movie, except for more bad movie. It pretty well covered it.
