Excellent retelling of the graphic novels. Fantastic animation and lighting in every scene added by the look of the Gibbons artwork and Higgins colors make the story come to life. I can't wait for Chapter 2 to continue the story.

While the CG animation can be dodgy at times and looks more like cel-shaded cutscenes to a video game, Watchmen: Chapter 1 effectively captures the look and feel of the groundbreaking graphic novel and showcases more aspects of the comic not explored in previous adaptations!

It wasn’t a bad movie, but it is also took a lot from the original film. Some scenes verbatim. Another criticism is the voice acting. Some lines felt rushed. The third and final criticism was the animation. I’m not a fan of computer generated animation. This film would have benefited if someone like Bruce Timm had overseen the animation.

Apesar da qualidade de animação duvidosa, é sim uma boa animação e uma adaptação muito boa e fiel de Watchmen!! Uma direção excelente pra demonstrar e nos dar informações e uma imensidão muito boa sobre os acontecimentos da história! Uma trilha sonora muito bem feita que entrega muito bem o que a cena está querendo nos passar ou sentir. Sem dúvidas Dr. Manhattan é o que mais se destaca nessa animação! É uma adaptação que me agrada bastante! Com certeza é uma das melhores animações lançadas pela DC esse ano! Juntamente com 'Batman: Caped Crusader' A animação apesar de ser um pouco feia, não me incomoda e até consegue me agradar em algumas vezes!! N: 8 Como um fã de Watchmen, essa adaptação me agrada muito!!
